Our mission is to protect women and children in Boston from the damage that Domestic abuse can inflict on their lives. We will do this because we believe that all women and children have the right to live their lives free from fear and harm. We will achieve this by providing women with choices from a range of services including temporary supported housing, outreach support, telephone support and floating support.

Boston Women's Aid offers safe, emergency, temporary accommodation and support to any woman - with or without children - experiencing domestic abuse.

We define domestic abuse as physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse by a partner, ex-partner, or any family member. We include forced marriage and honour based violence. We do not include neighbour violence or stranger rape.

Women do not have to be staying in a refuge to get help from Boston Women's Aid. Our Outreach teams will assist women who are still living in, or have recently left, an abusive relationship. Agencies can contact our Refuge and Outreach teams for support in good practice and awareness of how to work with women experiencing Domestic abuse.
